The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Western Macedonia in collaboration with the Department of Informatics of the School of Information and Communication Technologies of the University of Piraeus organize and operate the Joint Postgraduate Studies Programme "Advanced Information Technologies and Services".
The Postgraduate Studies Programme awards a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in “Modern Information Technologies and Services”. The degree is awarded jointly by the University of Western Macedonia and the Piraeus University.
The program offers two tracks (directions) of specialization:
a) Modern Telecommunication Systems, Internet Technologies, the Internet of Things and Systems Security
b) Information and Communication Technologies in Education
Η ειδίκευση Τεχνολογίες της Πληροφορικής και των Επικοινωνιών στην Εκπαίδευσης παρέχει παιδαγωγική και διδακτική επάρκεια στους αποφοίτους της, σύμφωνα με το ΦΕΚ τ.Β’ 1730/19-03-2024.
Τα μαθήματα πραγματοποιούνται εξ’ ολοκλήρου με μεθόδους εξ’ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευσης και διδάσκονται στην ελληνική και αγγλική γλώσσα.
