The MSc awards a Master of Science (MSc) in Modern Information Technologies and Services with the following tracks of specializations:
a) Modern Telecommunication Systems, Internet Technologies, the Internet of Things and Systems Security
b) Information and Communication Technologies in Education
Duration
The duration of the MSc is three (3) academic semesters, while the award of the Diploma of Postgraduate Studies requires the successful examination in six (6) courses in the first semester, the successful examination in six (6) courses in the second semester and the preparation and writing of a postgraduate thesis in the third semester. The assessment of the courses is carried out by means of assignments and/or examinations.
Courses
The award of the Diploma of Postgraduate Studies requires:
- the successful examination in six (6) courses in the first semester
- the successful examination in six (6) courses in the second semester
- the preparation and writing of a postgraduate thesis in the third semester
The assessment of the courses is carried out by means of assignments and/or examinations.
The teaching languages of the M.Sc. program are Greek and/or English.
The courses offered per semester are determined by decision of the relevant Curriculum Committee.
Each course is equivalent to five (5) ECTS credit units. The Master's Thesis is equivalent to thirty (30) credit units (ECTS). In total, the MSc is equivalent to ninety (90) credit units (ECTS).
